Princeton University has begun a national search for a Director of Employee Health & Assistant Director of Medical Services. The Director of Employee Health will be responsible for the overall management of the Employee Health services for all employees of the University. Areas of responsibility for this role include occupational health care, workers’ compensation, short term disability case management, immunization services and travel planning as well as medical surveillance for OSHA mandated programs and outreach to campus.

Candidate Qualities and Qualifications

  • New Jersey licensure as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner with certification, physician’s assistant or physician as well as BLS/AED certification and certification as a COHN-S or other occupational health professional certification
  • Minimum of six to ten years of progressive management experience of an occupational health program and supervision of clinical administrative support staff
  • Ability to handle complex employer/employee health related issues and problem solve with sensitivity and knowledge of state/federal regulations and university policy
  • Working knowledge of OSHA mandated health programs, workers’ compensation laws and regulations, short term disability and the Americans with Disabilities Act in the context of addressing health and safety issues at work
